“Make your mind still like a pool of water, ready to receive whatever thoughts I drop into it.” (Jesus Calling).

Nothing brings me more ease than to know He does not want my brain riddled with worry. Overthinking and ruminating comes so easily, nearly unavoidable. Knowing that is not God’s wish gives me the permission I need to let go.

This morning, I’m reminded to let go of the never ending rat race of the corporate world. More, more! Faster, faster! Make no mistakes!

I’m so easily lost in the ho hum of a 40+ hour work week.

Working in residential care certainly does that to you.

Today I will spend most of my day away from my family in exchange for money.

Better make it as much fun as possible 😃
