My heart feels heavy and desperate

Craving to rescue the pain 

Two friends parents have died 

As I sit and listen to the rain 

God, I pray for them to reach for you!

I pray for their grieving hearts 

I pray their pain to ease each day 

I pray it from the start. 

Thank you, God

For hearing my worries,

My ever racing thoughts 

Thank you, God, for listening to me

The comfort means a lot. 

Life is so painful without you 

It’s hard to ever move on 

Weighed down by life’s uncertainties 

Without you, I’d be done.
