Is it wrong to say that I want to read my own?! I’m so eager to be published—it kills me! I don’t know when my first book will be ready, but it is currently going through illustrations.

The remember wanting to be a writer when I was quite young.. maybe 1st or 2nd grade. I have a distinct memory of maybe 4th grade when my dad told me that he would try to get me published someday. I remember thinking how cool it would be and how amazing that he thought I was that good.

I never pursued publishing and I went straight for a more secure career.

It took getting my heart broken and my children’s father dying to make me realize I needed to finally pursue my lifelong dream.

But if I had to choose other books I’d like to read.. I’d have to say I need to finish Pumpkin Spice Cafe and the other books in her series!
